That the rights are something everyone has and then you have to have the responsibilities and if you do not have the rights then you really dont have the resonsibilities becuase you can get that taking away from not having the rights.

How is the Constitution still important 220 years after it was signed?
Because even though it is that long ago does not mean nothing becuase it has the laws that are important for the whole U.S and if we did not have that then it would be people can go and do things that they shouldn't do that why it is really importanat even if it was 220 years ago it is still important.

What is the responsibility of citizens of the United States to protect the ideas of the Constitution?
Beucase if we dont protect it then people can go and rip it and then we would not have a Constitution and people can go and kill other people and say it's not in the constitution. That's really why.

I have my own comment to add.

If we did not have the laws in the Constitiution like we do today then the world would be crazy and people would be killing people and not be getting introuble becuase alot of the people go by the Constitution and if we don't have it then people would do whatever they wanted to do.

And then the rights are the best thing becuase if we did not have that then I dont even wanna know what would the world would be like and its like you going out in the street and not coming home becuase someone did not have the respontibltiy that we have and so yeah those are my thoughts and im glad we do have a Constitution....
But I do think that it is wrong if you have people take other peoples rights away unless its really bad becuase I think everyone should have a life no matter what and yes I hate that people do wrong things and i think that is becuase they were raised wrong but yeah and im sick of people going to go to prison for like getting in a wreck something like that, that there rights to be taken away.

The Constitution is one of the most important pieces of history that the United States has ever made. With out the Constitution the United States would not be any thing like it is now.More murders wold be occuring and no one would be stopping it!Many Illegal things would be happening every where!Freedom is a big part of the Constitution.Slavory would still be happening and people would not be able to do what they wanted.Rights are another important part of the USA.If you don't have the right to do smething that you should be able to do,then someone some where made the wrong mistake!Talk about nonesense, not being able to go to school for some reason that is so lame.I can tell you right now that no one would want that to happen to them.If the Constitution was made 210 years ago and people still remember it today,WOW it must be important!

I am glad that we actually have punishments if we break the laws that a group of men wrote we the people are the first words andit turned into the constitution which has the laws and the bill of rights and some other really important stuff.

Also i can`t wait to sing the song if we do. Because last year we sang the song and it had a catchy tune to it if all the songs of the constitution have the same beat.Anyway back to the point i really like to hear and read the constitution.I still have a copy that my 5th grade teacher gave me.So i really am excited and i remember some of the stuff.Let`s just say if i took a quiz then i would brobably get a B.

So like i said the constitution is really important to the U.S.A and we really need to pay attention to it because it has rights and laws and other important stuff and it is really great stuff and today i learned a lotof stuff and i can now know the three branches judisial and legislative and executive. Also that it has been around for 220 years.I wonder where the constitution is right now.Well can`t wait for tommorrow.

Rights and responsibilities differ because rights means people can do what they want as long as it's appropiate and responsibilities means that you are in charge of your actions.

The constitution might be old but it's still inportant because with out it and it's laws the world and people would be cause and would be doing really bad things.

The responsibilities of citizens to protect the constitution because if something would have destroyed it then people would start breaking the law and they would say that the law didn't say anything about the bad thing that person did so they wouldn't get locked up. Mr. veliz Rocks!!!!!!!

the responsabilities of a citizen to protect the constitution becaus if something wold have destroyed it then people would start breking the law and when they get in trouble they would say the law didn't say they could't do the bad thing the person did so they wouldn't get locked up.

When you have a right you hav ethe privalege to do something. Here in the United Sates we have rights. And also what comes with those rights are resonsibilty. We may have the right to say what we want whenever we want but it doesnt give us a right to take advatage.I think the constituion is very important even if this country was 500 years old because the constitution is like the rule book of our country. It tells us our rights and what we can do.
My comment...
I will never forget the constitution and what it means to our country. Delani

A right is a privilege to do what you want and a responsibility is to do what's right.

When the Constitution was signed it gave us our right and told us what we could and could not do and gave us some of our laws.

So everyone has their own rights and prevents wars from spreading

We all have responsibilities and rights without one we wouldnt have the other. The costitution is still important after all these years because its like the proof of our freedom.without the constitution we would be part of England paying taxes for tea.I agree with Rainey,if we dont prtect the ideas of the constitution people can tear it and go around killing people.

Oh,one more thing,GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO U.S.A..YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA the U.S will win the war we always win wars every one war we have been in we have won

Anonymous said...

the costitustion shows our right to freedom and the amendment and our write i think it is a privilage to have thoose rights but thay can be taken any like any thing else say if u break a law they have a choice if it is a bad crime or not to take your rightss away and put u to jail i think constitution day is important because is shows that we still have our freedom and were proud of it

What is the relationship between rights and responsibilities?
Rights are something that everyone should have. Resonpsibilities is also something that everyone should have. For example, trust.

How is the constitution still important 220 years after it was signed? It keeps our envoronment from alot of danger today. For example, it keep people from getting harmed, robbed, and killed.

What is the responsibility of the citizens of the United States to protect the ideas of the constitution? If we didn't the laws of the Constitution we would not have the right to vote, freedom of speech,we would have jury trail, bear arms,of religion, right to protect our property. The Constitution of the United State is a truly remarkable document.

GO GATOR'S MR.VELIZ ARE THE COOLEST TEACHER......

I agree with Weston.
If the constitution was never signed there would be nothing like it is today.
There would be a bunch of people with nothing to do and not alot of kids would be in school and they would be working for slave owners and getting beat.
And I am glad that we did sign the constitution becuase you never know that you could be in the slavery and then you would be like not in school and you would never know how to read and write and that would be hard for the future I am really glad that we did sign that and make alot of rules now alot of things cant happen with out you getting into alot of trouble.

Ps.
Mr.Veliz your awesome!

The relatinoship between rights and responsibilities are that for you to have rights comes responsibilities, and for you to have responsibilities you have to have rights.
The Constitution is still important 220 year after it was signed because it lets people have freedoms, but at the same time it keeps things in order.
Citizens of the United States need to protect the ideas of the Constitution because somone could destory ut and then the United States would be chaotic like some other places in the world.

The relationship between rights and responsibilities are that rights are privileges and responsibilities are things we do or take care in and if we dont do those things our rights would be taken away.
With rights come responsibilities.

The Constitution is still important 220 years from now. Because it's the bases of our laws and how goverment should be ran in the U.S.Without it America would be a vary different place to live in.

To prtect the idea of the Constitution it's the citizens job to not let anyone change it so that we can maintain our freedom and our rights in the United States.

I think everyone should have thir rights instead of working all the time like slaves. They should also have freedom like the U.S does and be able to go to school and laern.

What is the relationship beetween rights and responsibilities?
Rights are something that every person has, and along with the rights are responibilities. You have the rights to basically do whatever you want, but with that you must follow the resonsibiblities that follow. With the rights come responsibilities.

How is the Constitution still important 220 years after it was signed?
There have been laws that have been added, and being that the Constiution is very important, we still follow the rules that were made 220 years ago, when it was signed. The Constitution is still important even if it had been 220 years.

What is the responsibility of citizens of the United States to protect the ideas of the Constitution?
If there was no Constitution then people could do whatever they want when they want and not be charged guilty becuase its not written down anywhere that what they dod was wrong, and that they didnt follow the responsibilities that came with the laws and regulations that they broke.

The Constitution of the United States is a very important thing in history; without it the world would be a mad mess. Thats what i think about the Constitution.

The Constitution is very important, it shows that we follow and respect the rules and laws and to this very day the Constitution is still as important 220 years ago when it was signed.

Anonymous said...

what is the realationship between rights and responsibilities?
rights are what give you freedom to do whatever you want...but with those rights come responsibilities.
you cant just go out and kill someone because its a free country.there is some limits to what you can do.

how is the constitution still important 220 years after it was
signed?
it is still important beause even though it was writen a long time ago its the u.s's rules, and no one should change it now.

what is the responsibility of citizens of the united states to protect the ideas of the constitution?
its our resonsibility because if someone go's and burns it we would live in cayous, because we wouldent have any rules.and people would go steal, and kill and we dont want that so we have to protect it with our lives.

hi people's,hi mr.veliz!!!!!!
